A short, practical manual handling programme for Somerset Gas heating and plumbing engineers. Using realistic decisions involving boilers, radiators, cylinders, toolboxes and materials, it shows how to avoid hazardous handling where possible, assess what cannot be avoided, and reduce the remaining risk. Recurring engineer Ben keeps the learning relevant to work in homes, plant rooms, stores and vans. The programme takes around 10 minutes, excluding the final assessment.
