We now provide electrical services with a dedicated team of electricians working full-time on supporting our heating teams and carrying out independent electrical projects and contracts.

Annual Boiler Service and Inspections
Somerset Gas specialise in annual safety inspections and servicing on gas, oil and solid fuel boilers and other heating and cooking appliances.
Our team are experienced in working with monthly and yearly schedules, achieving 100% completed inspections on an annual basis for a number of our partners.
We work with our partners and customers to create a robust appointment system and work with the latest technologies to ensure communication with our customers and their residents are effective and streamlined.
Repairs and Maintenance
We provide repairs and maintenance to gas, oil and solid fuel appliances and systems.
We are experienced in working towards response times of as little as two hours where the circumstances permit and routinely operate to a priority SLA process.
We have a robust and effective supply chain whilst working in conjunction with a network of local merchants and suppliers and we are proud of our extensive relationship with Vaillant boilers and other leading manufacturers.
Somerset Gas is proud to promote our installation teams who have the experience of hundreds of large, medium and small projects.
Our teams have the capability to work with all types of specification that our customers choose and our customers are supported at the planning stage by our experienced Managing Director, Mark Lewis to ensure that all project aims are met.
Our teams are capable and highly experienced in working on projects in customers homes, public buildings, large properties, and apartment blocks.
Our team have the luxury of flexibility and whether our customers require an urgent boiler change or a long-term project; our teams can cope.
Commercial & Industrial
Somerset Gas specialises in commercial heating and provides services within this field such as safety inspections and servicing, repairs and maintenance and installations and can work with gas, oil, LPG and more.
From restaurants, residential homes, public buildings, factories, schools and hospitals; we have the experience and training to support our customers with these requirements.
A lot of our social housing customers have a number of commercial assets and with our dedicated commercial team, the workmanship that Somerset Gas delivers can be guaranteed on even the larger boilers.
Electrical Services was established in 2013, providing support to our heating teams and allowing Somerset Gas to deliver electrical services to a range of social housing customers.
Whilst our team of dedicated electricians support our engineers on installation projects and in other roles; our NICEIC qualified electrical team are now working on partnerships and projects in their own right.
From PAT testing, to electrical wiring, to repairs and maintenance, our electricians operate to the same standards and professionalism as their colleagues in the heating industry.
In addition, as of 2018, our electrical team became certified in installing home electrical charging units for electric and hybrid vehicles and are trained in servicing, repairing and installing DUOMO gas detection equipment.
24 Hour Support
Our social housing partners are supported by our heating team, 24 hours of the day, 356 days per year.
Somerset Gas is proud to be supported by our fantastic, 'on-call' heating team that consists of directly employed engineers only who all live within our local vicinity. This provides our customers with a robust network of engineers to respond to their residents needs at any time of the day.
